EcoKids Home – EcoKids is a website maintained by Earth Day Canada. It is Canada’s environmental destination for kids!

EPA Environmental websites for kids and teachers – It is divided into age groups and includes a teacher’s section.

Recycle City – This site provides information about recycling for teachers and kids. There is an interactive game that requires a Shockwave plugin to operate, but it’s worth the effort!

USGS Water Science for Schools – Offers information on many aspects of water, along with pictures, data, maps and an interactive centre where you can give opinions and test your water knowledge.

Bill Nye the Science Guy – Read interesting facts, do experiments, see the demo of the day, and there’s an area for teachers as well.

Eddie the Eco-Dog – Games, activities and cool graphics.

Oceans Alive! – A fun website for kids about our oceans.

Tour the Smithsonian’s Ocean Planet Exhibition – A traveling exhibition from the Smithsonian Institution, opened in Washington, D.C., on April 22, 1995 and toured nationally 1996-1999. This electronic online companion exhibition contains all of the text and most of the panel designs and images found in the traveling exhibition.
